About Me

Now What??

Hey guys, I thought I'd hit you up with a short little update. First of all, I'm officially on spring break, which means I have no more classes for the rest of the semester. In the UK, spring break is from the end of March until mid-April, and then there is a 'reading week,' which basically means another week of spring break. The exam period is from the end of April until the end of May. These exams include both this semester's courses and also some of last semester's courses. Luckily, I only have 3 exams because I only had this semester of classes. My flatmate, Chiara, has more because she was here last semester. During my spring break, I will be working quite a bit more, but I also plan on traveling around both the UK and Europe a bit. I am definitely going to Amsterdam for Easter with Katie, Becca, and their friend Amanda, but I'm not sure where else I want to go. I'm thinking Munich for a couple days and then I might not go anywhere again until May, between two of my exams, when I might either go to Prague or Copenhagen. I would like to add this: flying in Europe is NOT as cheap as people make it out to be. Yes, there are some cheap deals, but most of them are not. Most of the flights I find are still around £130 for a roundtrip, which is roughly $200. Not as cheap as I was promised. If anyone has any cheap suggestions/would like to offer me a couch to sleep on, it would be much appreciated.
Sorry for the not-so-exciting post, but I felt the need to update people a little bit now that I've handed in all my essays and can actually breathe/sleep now.  On a lighter note, here's a fun video:
